Danau Singkarak or Singkarak Lake located in the geographical coordinates of 0, 36 degrees south latitude (LS) and 100.3 east longitude (BT) with a height of 363.5 meters above sea level (masl). Water surface area reaches 11,200 hectares of Lake Singkarak with a maximum length of 20 kilometers and 6.5 kilometers wide and a depth of 268 meters. This lake has a water catchment areas along the 1076 kilometers with rainfall up to 252 melimeter 82 per month.

Toba Lake is a volcanic lake located in the North Sumatra province, Indonesia. This lake is the Indonesia largest lake with 100 kilometers length and 30 kilometers wide. In the middle of this lake there is a volcanic island called Samosir Island. Toba Lake was formed during the approximately supervulcano eruption 73.000-75.000 years ago. This eruption occurred during 1 week. After the eruption occur, formed a caldera that later filled with water into a lake is now known as Toba Lake and magma pressure that has not exit causes the emergence of Samosir Island.
Toba Lake is very beautiful because it is surrounded by hills. The atmosphere at around the lake is comfortable, the air fresh and cool. The visitors can enjoy the beauty of Lake Toba with a swim or rent a motor boat to surround the lake.

Plan a trip to Medan, North Sumatra? Sipiso-piso Waterfall must be one of its goals. Why? Let me first ya a story about this one attraction. Sipiso-piso Waterfall is located not far from the village of Tongging in Karo, North Sumatra. Located in lowland areas, and Sipiso-piso Waterfall on the hill, so water flow height can reach 800 masl.Hills that surround Sipiso-piso Waterfall is very green and cool, and most plants are pine trees.
